Project Description
After being hired by developer Alan R. Daus & Associates to build Brooklyn Corporate Center, D-A-S was retained to complete the interior build out for one of the centers first tenants, Ohio Savings.
The 32,500 square foot build out for Ohio Savings required strengthened concrete floor slab to accommodate the heavy weight of the printing presses and other machinery they purchased for the new facility. While the eastern portion of the building houses printing presses, mail sorting equipment and a warehouse, the western portion of the building houses an open call center which consists of numerous cubicles that are partially separated by acoustical, modular panels. The entire area is softly illuminated by hanging strips of indirect lighting to reduce glare and enhance productivity. A modern lobby, human resource department, training room, employee lunch area and an outdoor patio complete Ohio Savings Brooklyn Operations Center.
